Description
Background I work at a genetics department and wanted a fitting way to store my whiteboard markers.
The model is a right turning double helix depicting the DNA backbone. The markers take the place of the nucleotides connecting the two strands of the double helix together.

Printing instruction I printed the model without any support on my CORE One+ using Prusament Woodfill Chocolate Brown . I used half the default bridging speed and lowered the printing temperature by 5 ° to 190°C.
The slope of the helix is steep enough to print without any issues. Only the holes and the top required minimal post processing removing a few small artifacts.
I did notice some flexing of the helices after about 2/3 printing. This might pose issues for bedslinger printers. A lower movement speed for the top part of the model might be needed.
Final note Credit to my kid for discovering the cool way to rotate the model using a pen (see gif in the photos section)
